Where do I start. My primary trait has to be laziness, I mean, look at me, I'm 31 and just now deciding where I want to go with my life. I've done pretty much everything and anything you can think of. (well. Maybe not everything...) Yep, that's basically my life story right there.

Love all kinds of music, but not into the bar scene at all. Love those small town fundraising things, though not a church lady either. I read a lot, and have some classic sit coms that make me laugh and help me keep my perspective. I have a graduate degree, but am surely no intellectual -- the dumbest things make me laugh, and I don't know a lot of big words, unless I use them at my job every day! Still like to bake my own bread, and hate shopping -- dress as casually as I can get away with.

Iâ??m 24 years old originally from Davenport Iowa, however, I now live out in Boone Iowa. I went to school at UNI in Cedar Falls where I earned a degree in Leisure Youth and Human Services with two emphasis areas being Youth Services and Non ProfitYouth Administration. This degree enabled me to peruse a low paying job of you guessed it, working with youth. For being a poor person I decided to work more for enjoyment than making money. Iâ??ve become accustom to being broke; it seems to suit me well ~ I enjoy hanging out with my friends, which some how always leads to random acts of stupidity. Most of which we still laugh about daily ~I love storms but most importantly I love to play in them. This is also when I tend to sleep the best ~ I like to go out and hit the bars but after a while becoming belligerently intoxicated loses its perks when you spend many a mornings lying around vowing never to go out again. Which of courseâ?¦ never follows through ~ As much as I like to go out I tend to find a high point in my o so non-active life would be just lying around watching movies. I seem to watch a lot of movies but never the ones everyone else seems to watch, this possibly because I have probally have the intelligence of a 3 year old ~ I canâ??t sleep with out 1 of 2 fans on, and my 4 pillows, and my kitty by my side. ~ I still count with my fingers due to the fact that I am numerically challenged, and I cant spell to save my life ~ I sing very loudly in my car and when I am alone in my house ~ I have bad road rage which leads to me yelling a lot between lyrics ~ I like to cuddle, 95% of the time it is with my pillows, or the cat. ~ Many people like normal animals like bears and such, I like Moose ~ I have the grace of (according to a friend of mine) a 3-legged one-eyed drunken cat, which seems to impair my judgment to move without injuring myself ~ I donâ??t care what day it is I can sleep till 5 and be ok with it, however I am never given that opportunity ~I love to go camping even though it never ends well ~ I love to travel. My Camp A gave me that advantage by letting me go to Japan and New Orleans ~ I talk to myself, possibly more than I talk to other people. I even answer sometimes ~ I listen to music in Spanish and know all the words, but I donâ??t know what they mean ~ I LOVE music and have a hard time sitting in silence~ I canâ??t sit still and am constantly messing with stuff ~ I have a problem saying "no"~ I pride my self on not looking like a twig ~ I could eat Ice cream for the rest of my life and nothing else and be happy with it ~I name my pets weird names (i.c Sukoshi, Loki, Vitani) ~I have a fear of commitment. But I am getting a lot better ~I am VERY afraid of snakes and spiders ~ All of my notebooks are full of doodles and I canâ??t draw to save my life ~ As much as I love beer I cannot drink it or Ill die, (damn yeast) so I have become very close with Jose! ~ I bite my nails on a daily basis ~ I am terrified of needles, yet I have 10 piercing and 5 tattoos ~ I have mastered the art of looking like I am paying attention, but in all reality about 50% of the time I have no idea what you are talking about. Not because I dont care what you have to say but my mind likes to wander off quite frequently ~ I pretty much need coffee or some sort of caffinated substance to survive~ When I get excited I talk really fast and sometimes forget to breath ~I lose my focus very easily and forget what I am doing/saying ~I love scary movies, but I wonâ??t watch them alone because I scare easily ~I'm very ticklish ~ I own more hooded sweatshirts than almost any person I know and live in sweats. ~ I loath getting dressed up and avoid it at all costs ~ I'll do almost anything to help a person out, even if I dont know them ~ I have recently learned that I do not always process what I say, this not being that I say stuff to offend people or get myself in trouble, but something I just say the most random shit ~ I am probably the most random person you will ever meet, but that is not necessarily a bad thing!

I am a person who enjoys life and loves to find adventure. I have tandem parachuted and rafted down the Royal Gorge and still up for more adventure. I grew up in a small town in NW Iowa, spent the summer at the Lakes and miss it very much. I love to fish, boat, swim and SCUBA dive. I go back and every summer for a couple of weeks to volunteer at a Camp.

I am a divorced single mom with 4 active, beautiful children. I enjoy reading, music, movies, exercise, hiking, eating chocolate, and drinking margaritas. I always find this section hardest to write because it's self percpetion versus outer perception...who's right? Art is an inherent part of me. So is nature. I can be shy, but can be passionate and energetic, too, especially with something I love. I'm also a total goof, and can be immature (or child-like, whichever). When it's warm weather, I am outside. I like to go out and dance (but I dance everywhere, even in my kitchen), but I like to be home, too; I don't need to be entertained all the time. I spend a lot of time at libraries, antique shops, and in parks. I'm interested in so many things, and am endlessly curious about things even if I'm bad at them, like science. I'd much rather be up and doing something instead of sitting in front of a screen, but I still watch t.v., especially PBS, and lots of movies. I'm not very good at communicating how I feel, so I instead show people how I feel with things I do and make for them. I love working with my hands and crosswords. I don't know what I'm doing in life -- I live in the now. I am usually laid back, but can get stressed easily. This is exacerbated by the fact I'm kind of a perfectionist. I'm very open minded and accepting (at least, I try to be). The world is so beautiful and amazing that it's a shame to waste life on petty things.

I'm a very laid back individual. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their experiences, in fact, I'm prone to chatting up strangers in almost any situation. My sense of humor is pretty quirky and off the wall a lot of the time, I've always been very good at finding the humor in any situation, I feel that's the key to maintaining my sanity. Also my two favorite pass times are cooking and reading. Hmm, there's a great deal more that can be used to describe me, however I think you'll enjoy finding that out more by talking to me and "experiencing" me instead of just having it described to you.

I am living in ames and I recently graduted from ISU with a degree in finance, and most of my friends have moved away after graduating, I have a pretty positive attitude, some say to positive, I look on the brightside of just about anything, I am usually pretty happy and It does not take much to make me happy. I am looking for someone with some similar interest as me to spend time with and see were things may lead. I'm a civil engineering student at Iowa State. I'm in my final year and I didn't plan out my classes very well so I am left with one very tough semester. With my degree I would love to design the structural systems in high-rise buildings.

I grew up on a small farm in northwest Iowa and working for my dad doing all sorts of farm chores. I also used to play the drums but I have lost most of that ability.

I grow bonsai trees as a hobby. Currently I have way to many ficus trees as I was limited in my outdoor space, but I now have also started growing an elm and mulberry tree. In a few years the mulberry should be a pretty nice looking tree.

Well, I think those first three words explain me pretty well...But I'm a very fun person to be around, I like to do many things and I'll try just about everything once, and obviously if I enjoy it I will continue to pursue it. I love music of all types, but I especially love Rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B. I love the Broncos (since I was 5 years old) and everything to do with football. I'm bright, affectionate, loving, sweet, and sexy, or so I'm told. I love to read and write. I'm into self expression and feel like that's part of my calling in life. I'm unique... and that's a pretty darn good start. :o)

As an update: I'm currently channeling my inner grandmother/hippie/tree hugger. What this translates to is an interest in cats... and ownership of a significant number of the aforementioned beings, significant being seven. It also includes eating organic, locally grown or raised foods and those things that are best from my other homes (Colorado and Maui, Hawaii) are also included. Thirdly, I'm one of those people who owns a Prius and I prefer to date someone who is also a Prius driver, or if you do not drive a Prius, other hybrid drivers are acceptable.... and I suppose I can allow for those walkers and bicyclers of the world too... but just this once ;o). I ride my bike to work and school or I walk. SUV's piss me off. I'm also quasi-involved in cohousing. Community in this culture is breaking down; families are breaking down... and sometimes it's good to get back to your roots. In my case, my roots are partially Native American... I'm building my own tribe in a way I guess.

I'm interested in taking care of this planet so that my son or his sons or their sons (and daughters) don't have to go to a museum to see trees or prairies. I'm interested in being a responsible pet owner... because I have cats, this means they are indoor only for both their safety and that of the local wildlife (they go out occasionally on a harness and leash in the yard or for a stroll around the block). I'm interested in helping my son grow to be the best person he can possibly be and to be okay with doing the right thing even in the face of a world populace doing the wrong things.

Update #2: So, lots of people seem to read my profile and see "BI" and think that means something other than it does. It means I think women are pretty and sometimes I think men are cute too. This DOES NOT MEAN I want to join your relationship as the girl to make this the perfect triad or to be someone's relationship garnish or side salad.

I have a beautiful eight year old boy I'm raising. I have eight... yes, you read that right EIGHT cats, four dogs, two bunnies, four Russian Dwarf hamsters of unknown variety, three rats, and fish. (No, there are no partridges in pear trees or french hens... though turtle doves strike me as kinda cool as do gold rings....but uh, I INSIST they be white gold and ethically obtained metal.... so, recycled preferably) I do enough juggling with these kids for all the circuses in all the world combined... you needn't apply if you want me to juggle my needs around your other relationships.

Sometimes I'm serious and sometimes I'm goofy, aww hell I'll admit it, I'm probably serious about 5% of the time. No that doesn't mean that I'm irresponsible because I'm very responsible. It also doesn't mean that I'm not dependable because my friends always turns to me first if they need help because they know that I'll be there. It doesn't mean that I don't own up to my actions, because that is far from the truth. It just means that I'm a goof! I like to laugh and have fun. Life is serious enough why make it more? I'm a single Dad (shared custody) of an 11 year old boy who is my world. I'm work but not a workaholic. I'm driven to change my life each day but not so much that I forget that this moment happens only once. There's more I can write but I will just wait for now...

I am male, but not much into sports, or very 'mechanically' inclined. I have no great desire for the 'companionship' of other males, in either a social or 'intimate' context. I consider myself "straight", only in the sense that I have never, to this point, met another of my gender that I have wished to directly experience anything of a sexual or sensual nature with.

In the midst of a "Christian" society, I am pagan and heathen. As I incorporate attributes of both paganism and heathenism into my belief structure, I often find myself at odds with members of both.

Amongst a (supposedly) "monogamous" society, I am polyamorous and a swinger. As I display attributes, actions, and desires of both polyamorists and swingers, I find myself occasionally misunderstood and even at times shunned by members of both groups.

I am a father, although not a very good one. I am often short-tempered and impatient with my children, and I don't spend near as much time with them as I should.. I know I am not as 'encouraging' as I should be, and I seem to find myself much better at pointing out flaws and mistakes than praising more 'positive' attributes, of which my children have many. I do NOT, however, blame my lack of effective parenting on my OWN childhood!! My actions and decisions, whether good or bad, are my own, and not the result of some bullshit about a "broken home", a "dysfunctional family", or whatever. I refuse to give my 'past' that much 'control' over me.

I want love.. I want acceptance.. I want admiration.. I want to be 'desired'.. But I refuse to sacrifice or compromise who or what I am in order to gain any of it. And I refuse to set out to try to 'impress' anyone in order to 'convince' them of my worthiness of their 'attention', in whatever form. If my attributes do not stand out on their own, either I am not doing a good enough job displaying them, others are not doing a good enough job recognizing them, or others are in no need or desire of them.

I see the "forest for the trees" way too easily. I often wish this weren't the case. I would like a much better ability to be able to enjoy a singular tree a lot more often.

I consider myself intelligent. At least intelligent enough to realize there are many more things I don't know than what I do. However, I lack the ambition and self-discipline to use my intelligence to the best of my advantage. And, as intelligent as I am, I am still undeniably naive. I tend to trust people until given a reason not to.

I like to think that I am a nice combination of city kid and farm girl. I grew up in a small town and was involved in agriculture growing up. On the flip side I love cities and their excitement. I'm a young guy starting his career. I have similar interests as most guys my age. I feel like I have things in my life pretty well put together and off to a great future other than getting lonely way more often than I'd like. Other than that, I'd like to bring up a few things I think are unique about my personality.

I like to try to fully understand things, people, ideas, pretty much everything. I tend to not judge things too soon and consider many possibilities. If I have a strong opinion on something, get frustrated, or get annoyed by something, you will probably notice, but I'm generally pretty gentle and respectful with people whether they deserve it or not. People that know me tend to feel very comfortable sharing with me because they know they can trust me. If you've read this far, you have probably noticed that I spend a lot of time just thinking and tend to talk about deeper things. I also tend to struggle a bit with surface conversation since I'd rather cut straight to deeper conversation. It's tough to find people I can do that with, but I'm hoping to find more people I can have that sort of connection with. I really enjoy going out, having fun and being social, but I'm happiest hanging out in smaller groups and with closer friends.
